NICA: superconducting magnet for the MPD detector successfully delivered to JINR from Italy
The valuable cargo the MPD superconducting solenoid with a complete set of its peripheral equipment safely arrived from Italy to the port of destination Dubna. The journey of one of the key elements of the NICA project by water lasted more than a month.

NICA: MPD core assembly steps

NICA: Assembly of the TPC Detector for MPD

At JINR, NICA is working in different directions
Work on the NuclotronNICA project at the JINR Laboratory of High Energy Physics is proceeding in parallel in different directions. The launch session of the booster energy systems was held. The first cluster of the NICA Computing Center was put into operation. Elements of a multi-ton magnet were delivered from the Czech Republic, which will become the basis of the MPD multi-purpose detector.
